Handmade Goose Soft Toy with Hand-Quilted Wings

A wonderfully floppy goose for little adventures, cozy corners, and rooms that could use a bit more whimsy.

This oversized handmade fabric goose is sewn from natural cotton drop-cloth fabric with a warm mustard cotton beak and feet. Its generously sized wings are individually quilted for extra texture and character, and you can choose between a sweet embroidered face or a simple, minimalist look without eyes.

At approximately 21″ long with a 20″ wingspan, this is one goose with quite a bit of presence.

ONE VERY FLOPPY GOOSE

Long legs. Big quilted wings. And absolutely no intention of sitting properly.

This goose was made to have the wonderfully relaxed character of a well-loved fabric companion. The neutral cotton body keeps things simple, while the mustard beak and feet add just enough warmth and color.

The hand-quilted wings are a Lola + Sofia addition to the original pattern and one of my favorite details. Each wing is quilted individually before the goose is assembled, adding texture without taking away from the simple design.

It works beautifully as a whimsical addition to a nursery or child’s room, tucked into a reading corner, or given as a special handmade gift.

CHOOSE YOUR GOOSE

• Embroidered Eyes
  A pair of simple hand-embroidered eyes gives your goose a sweet little expression.
• No Eyes
  Clean, simple, and a little more sculptural. This option keeps the minimalist character of the natural fabric front and center.

Both versions are made without plastic eyes or facial pieces.

CARE

Spot clean gently with a damp cloth and mild soap as needed. Allow to air dry completely.

Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

Each goose is handmade individually, so small differences in shape, quilting, stitching, and placement are natural and make each one slightly different.
